Where are you based?
Our beautiful natural light studio is located in Kenthurst, Sydney, Australia, nestled in a peaceful private bush setting. It’s the perfect serene space for families to relax and feel at home.
What type of sessions do you photograph?
We specialise in newborn photography and love documenting the full journey of motherhood—from pregnancy to baby milestones and family sessions.

With over 10 years’ of experience and training in newborn handling, every session is designed to be safe, nurturing, and deeply personalised. The photographic style is bright, natural, and timeless, focusing on capturing authentic connections. Carefully selected, high-quality props and a touch of elegance elevate every setup. Patience, attention to detail, and a perfectionist’s eye ensure that families not only look their best but also feel completely at ease. Beautiful, high-quality images are the result providing memories to be cherished for a lifetime. All packages are all-inclusive, with no hidden costs—digitals and prints come standard, so your experience remains simple, joyful, and transparent.
When do you schedule sessions?
Sessions run Monday to Friday, with newborn sessions typically starting around 10am, we try to schedule sessions in the morning when little ones are fresh and the happiest (however we’re flexible with start times to suit your family). We only book a limited number of newborn sessions each week, as babies can arrive early or late, this allows for rescheduling if need be. The natural light filters gently into the studio at this time, creating a soft glow that’s perfect for photos. Outdoor family sessions are best held during golden hour—just before sunset—when the light is soft, warm, and beautifully flattering. Weekend sessions may be available on request for an additional $100.
How do I book a session?
Simply send an enquiry via our website or if you have already selected a package you can book directly through our online booking system and select a date that suits you. To secure your session a booking form must be completed with a payment of $200 non-refundable deposit and the remaining balance due by your session date. You will then be guided through preparing for your session.
When is the best time to do a maternity session?
The ideal time for maternity photos is between 30-36 weeks of pregnancy, when your bump is beautifully round and you’re still feeling comfortable. Book your session after your first scan, once you have an estimated due date. We recommend not booking any later, just in case your baby is born early.
What is the best age for newborn photos?
The ideal time for newborn photos is within the first 2–3 weeks after birth, when your baby is still sleepy and naturally curled up. However, we welcome babies of all ages, and our newborn sessions and packages are suitable for little ones up to 3 months old.
What if my baby is already born?
If your baby is born, Congratulations! There is no age cut off, however book in your session as soon as available, as your baby is growing fast and you don’t want to miss these precious first moments. We can absolutely still create beautiful memories for older bubs—just get in touch and we’ll plan the perfect session for your little one.
How many set-ups are included in a newborn session?
We usually create 2–3 beautiful set-ups, thoughtfully tailored to your baby’s comfort and mood on the day. Each session is fully customised using high-quality props and wraps. We love capturing timeless classic baby poses and earthy-toned images—they’re always a favourite and a must in every session. If you have something personal in mind, we’re more than happy to add that special touch to make your photos truly unique to you.
What if my baby is unsettled or fussy on the day?
It’s completely normal! We take a gentle, baby-led approach and allow plenty of time for feeding, settling, and cuddles. Your baby’s comfort is always our top priority. Parents always adore awake photos of their baby so if baby has their eyes open we will take the opportunity to capture their little personality and provide a gentle wrap if need be. This also allows for variety in your session.
What do I bring to my session?
Just bring your baby and family—we’ll take care of the rest! We have everything you need including wraps, outfits, wipes, bottle warmer and refreshments.
What do we wear to our newborn family session and do you have a ladies wardrobe?
Yes! We have a beautiful studio wardrobe with flattering options for mums, maternity, and little ones. We also provide a styling guide to help you feel confident and look your best. Think timeless and simple—neutral tones, soft fabrics like cotton or linen, and nothing too bold or branded. Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and happy in, as that joy will shine through in your photos. Hair and makeup should be neat and natural—just a little mascara and lip gloss can go a long way. If you’d love a pro touch, we can help arrange a local makeup artist to come before your session. Just let us know!
Is your studio child friendly?
Absolutely! We have toys and space for siblings to play with a grassed area right outside the studio, as well a comfy lounge area for parents to relax.
What shooting locations do you offer for outdoor sessions?
We offer a variety of beautiful outdoor settings! Right next to our Kenthurst studio, you’ll find tranquil grassy grounds surrounded by bushland and trees—perfect for a peaceful, natural feel. We also have a gorgeous Hamptons-style balcony for a light, airy look, or if you’re after a coastal vibe, beach sessions are available too!
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We’re happy to offer flexible payment plans to help make this experience accessible and stress-free.
When will we get to see and select our photos?
After your session, we carefully select and retouch the best images using professional editing tools to bring out their full beauty. Your gallery will be ready to view around 3 weeks after your session, where you’ll be able to choose your favourites and prints. And because we know the wait can be hard—we love to share a little sneak peek while your full gallery is being perfected!
How many photos will we get to choose?
There are always plenty of beautiful images to choose from! The number of photos included will depend on the package you select. You’ll be able to pick your favourites, and if you fall in love with more (which often happens!), you’re welcome to upgrade. We also offer special discounts on any extras because we truly don’t want you to miss out on preserving these precious memories.
Can I order prints & wall art through you?
Absolutely! All packages include prints, and we offer quality custom made wall art, albums, and display pieces so you can treasure your memories for years to come.
